my mom is a writer and whenever she has trouble writing something, she gets up and walks around the house or aournd our block. it makes sense that you could think a lot better if you're not strapped to a chair all day. you wouldn't even have to have th desks. you could just have class in different places around school like the track or palay grpund or something.

I think that standing up in a desk will make you more tired in school and will be a distraction. Although i would like to try this new desk out for myself.

I wouldn't want to stand-up all day long in my classes because for one you would get tired of standing and for two it would just get boring.

I have a hard time sitting all day. It makes me tired, I get bored, and I get sore. Alot of desk aren't comfortable to in all day. I think stand-up desk would be better in school. It would get people less cranky, less tired. It would get people more active. I would like to have a stand-up desk in my classroom, It would be alot better for people in my class. It would get them awake, so they wouldn't sleep while the teacher is trying to get us to do something.

I think that the stand up desk would be a great idea! It would be so much fun! I feel like I am going to fall asleep in class sometimes and that is not good! The stand up desk would help alot of people in my school!

Well i think that the stand-up desks are a good idea. Everybody needs a break during the day. Although i would get tired of standing up all day. So I think it is a good idea, but i'm not crazy about it. Maybe if I had it in just some of my classes but not all of them that would be ok.

I partly agree that students should have stand-up desks and I partly disagree. Students should be comfortable in school, while paying attention to the teacher. I also disagree because students can find other ways to be energtic. My GT teacher once let us do yoga to get ready to learn.

i like to stand up, but i get tired. i would prefer to sit down instead of standing up ALL DAY! the chairs we sit in are not very comfortable, but kids deal with it. but more comfortable chairs woul be nice, HINT HINT FOR TEACHERS WHO ARE READING THIS!!!!:) :) :) :)

I agree with Leon, I would not like stand-up desks. After awhile my legs would get pretty tired. Plus if I had gym that day I would have trouble.

I agree with Coco. I would want to try the desks out to see if I would like them.I would like to see some other people trying it out too.Cause you should try out something before you make a descision.

I think the stand-up desks are a good idea. I sometimes get tired of sitting down all day. I think it might be tiring to stand all day,though. If you sit in the back of the classroom,you might be able to see better if you stood.

I really think this is a good idea but the "stand up"desks should be stretchy or alastic, due to back problems that it could cause or health issues.I'm a girl thats only in forth grade but I know about alot of intresting things!plus some schools cant afford it so PLEASE THINK ABOUT THOSE THINGS BEFORE YOU DESIGN!!!!!!

I think that stand-up desks are a good idea. Kids that have obesity needs to have to stand up. Stand-up desks are actualy good for kids health. Bu hearing this blog I think all schools should have stand-up desks. All schools should follow this story because it teaches kids a lesson. Not to sleep in class. When you stand up you won't fall asleep. Kid will behave more than not behaving. The more you learn the smarter you will get. Thi is why I think that stand-up desks are good for school.

I think the stand-up desks is a really great idea if. I think the stand-up desk is a really great idea because if kids need to stand up in class they can or they can sit and be comfortable ethier way. If a student gets in trouble you can tell them to sit if they are standing or tell them to stand if they got in trouble, and if you tell them to sit or stand it could teach them a lesson about behaving. Like I said I think the stand-up chair is a really great idea and I wish our class had it.

I love those desks 100%! I would love to have those desks in my classroom because sometmes I get tired of sitting. The swinging footrest sounds like a cool invention. Who ever invented that cool desk, I give that person 100 stars. I really want those desks. My class would love them. Sometimes I get tired or bored, I could just stand up and get energized and be ready to learn. I think if my class had a vote to see if they wanted those desks, all 24 of the kids would say yes!!!!!!! I want those desks so bad.

I Liked the idea of stand up desks but sometimes kids might get tired of standing and want to sit but I like that Idea a lot and I vote for it 50% but I would like to have then and I give lots of credit to the person who came up with that Idea I like it but not 100% sure yet. I think the idea of a stand up desk is not such a good idea. I think this because students would be tired after school of standing and they would just lay down on a chair or couch for the rest of the day. This may cause the students to go to bed earlyier witch would be good for class the next morining, maybe! With this new desk students could just want to rest witch I think from articil this is not you want, you want the students to burn calories. So I would not want a stand up desk. I also think this because from the pictures it does not look like there is a lot of room. THis is what I think of the stand- up desk.

Wow!! I think this is a wonderful idea! :} Ihere is a swinging footrest which is perfect for me because when I sit in class I am always swaying my feet up and down!! :) The only thing I do not like about this is that I would get tired of standing 8 hours a day and I am comfortable sitting at school because if you stand some kids could get distracted by standing because when you stand some kids might have the urge to move around and distract other kids and stop there learning.
