I cant figure out this question can someone help? Why a dog was buried in the burial tomb, did it belong to a person and it got buried with them or did it have its own sarcophagus?

Hi Cora,

Thanks for your question. According to Egyptian customs of the time, a person could be buried with their pets. The mummified dog found at this particular site more than likely belonged to one of the people buried there.
