I think that experience should be required for presidency. Obama has no experience. He has had 4 years with legislative experience but no war or executive experience.

it was an awesome article being that i supported barock the whole way

i think that obama should try to make less money to spend on bills there should be a 10 doller discont or something. and make the gas pricess go down. that would be nice too.there should also no school on fridays.i think obama should try donating foods to the homeless shealters and to the poor. there should also be less money on aropastel, holister, aracombi clothes . that would be all thanks alot. im so happy obama won. i wish i could vote id be the first one to vote 4 obama. piece
Posted by: sven | November 05, 2008 at 09:07 AM
I thik obama should lower taxes and lower some of the gas prices. I know gas prices are already going down but come on gas should not cost this much. I also think that taxes are way to high i know its only like every dollar is 8 cents in tax. The money adds up after a while. Some familys dot have homes i think obama should try to get them homes. I dont care if the homes are in another country atleat the familys will have a home to live in. I also thnk that it would be a good idea to have obama visit some of the middle schools and talk to the kids about what he should do. Its also a good idea to maybe read to the little kids at diffrent elementary schools. But the most important think out of running the whole united states is making time to sped with his family.

i think u should have stores stop selling airisole cans of hair spray and other things that efect the ozone layer and have a law that states that you can only drive your car some odd hours of the day because it polutes the air we breathe.one more thing that i think should be done is factorys should have a limite on how much stuff they could make a day beaucase that polutes our air to and if you drive pass a factory you can see lots of smoke thats not healthy to breathe into your lungs.THANX OBAMA

We hope that President Obama reminds car manufacturers to make ONLY cars that are safe for our environment. We would like him to try to stop the war. We would like him to help stop crime, especially in the cities. We hope that he will show integrity as a leader. We hope that his actions will follow all his words. We hope that he will support the police departments. We hope that the president will make sure that everyone can go to the doctor and that all people can afford their medications. We hope that President Obama shows respect and tolerance to everyone because those are good traits of a leader. We also want him to support the firefighters and fire departments. We hope that he will always put others first and not be greedy. We hope he will honor his word about tax credits especially for families. We hope that he does everything that he promised to do in his campaign. We are concerned about the environment and hope he can find ways to help save our planet and find other energy sources.

Dear President Obama,
Hello! You did a great job.You deserve to be the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.First,I think you should work on stopping the war because it kills a lot of people. I have no idea why anybody would want to have or would want to be in a war. If nobody was in the war there would be no war. I like that they surport our country but then they usally die (which I dont like). Please try to stop the war. Congratulations on winning the presidential electon. You deserved it.
Sincerly,
Julianne
P.S. Good job on the last speech.

Dear President Obama,
I want you to lower the gas prices. People are leaving their home state because of the high gas prices. The war in Iraq should be over this year. You did a great job in the last speech. You will do a great job of being the first black president.
Sncerly,
Audrey
P.S. I hope your children are healthy and happy.

Dear Our New President Barack Obama,
My message to you is that I think you are going to make the USA a better place to live. I also think people should get more involved in politics. Plus, you are a democrat and that is cool too. I think you should solve problems with the economy first. Also you should probably try to stop the war. This will be awesome having you as a President, Barack Obama. YOU ROCK. :) PS :)= tilt your head to the left then look at it.

I think that President-elect Obama can help bridge the divide in the race relations of our nation. Many Americans have waited a long time for a president who will represent the minority in the country, as well as its' majority. I would like to see future President Obama to work on increasing funding for education, as well as help support funding and legislation for stem cell research and helping to clean up the environment. I am proud of the election results and look forward to change in America.

From a kids view my ideas would be to put in more school activitys like if you are noy doing well in school there could be a teacher to help you with that particular subject. Also the enviroment, such as the recycling promblems, and the polutions more hibrids and more envirmental friendly things. I am very prode of the Obama Presidency.
Posted by: Kayla | November 05, 2008 at 09:55 AM
I think that he should keep the fath in America and still as he says keep us united as one. But not forget we all have different ideas.
A good president should always keep calm in a situation and take action befor a worse situation.

Dear President Obama,
Hi,how are you doing and I am glad that you are the next new president of the U.S. I think you need to help the littering in states. Also help fix our trash problem. Now that you are the president I think you should help schools and when you have some free time you could go see sick and disabled people in the hospital. Some ideas to help for Barrack Obama would be to help some schools or families that are in need of help like in poor states or neighborhoods. This country really needs a lot of help in some places. Not all of our places in this united nation are not in need of help. Also, to lower either gas prices or taxes.
Qualities I think are most important in a leader is a lot of background expirience with the type of thing that they are going for in life. And to be kind, but competitive at the same time. We need a good leader, and I think Obama will be a great leader.

I think that president Barack Obama can use a lot of support in helping the United States because we are one. We help each other in difficult times and work as one. Obama is trying to help the USA with creating peace. Obama may want to make friends with other contries, so other contries see that Obama is a good president and we won't have as many arguements

I think president Barack Obama should lower prices of gas and I think he should lower taxes and health care and bring the troops home from Iraq.

I think that Obama inprove the nation . Also Obama can make a bigger change like keep having a better cumunity and helping kids in school and at home that need help. Also Obama can make everything he thinks is right to change and he made a hudge change by having an afercian american.

I think that President Obama will help unite the people in the united-states of America as well as many of the people across the globe. I know this because I know what President Obamas world view. President Obama has many of the good qualities that we need to be a good leader like his tactics to reach out to the people across the world and bringing things and oppuritys together.

President-elect Obama can help our country by lowering taxes. Also by giving health care insurance and bringing our men home from Iraq.
I think good qualities in a good leader is to take care of our country, stop illegal people from other countries to keep ours safe. Also to help the homeless get jobs and homes.

I think that Obama can help us by making education more affordable and by lowering house prices for the poor. In a leader there should be bravry, peace, care, and action before vilonce.

Dear President Obama,
You inspire me to do better things and be a better person. So what I would like to say is that
you've been a better example for kids than Mcain by lowering taxes and gas prices so people can get to work and do something for a living because if they don't they will starve and die. When I heard your speech I knew that your grandmother was happy to see you made it! So when I grow up I might be president just like you.
Sincerely,Devin
