Forest Fire Controlled

A forest fire broke out in north Israel on December 2 and lasted 4 days. International fire services were called to help extinguish the fire and it was finally contained on Sunday. The deadly fire was the worst in Israel's history, destroying 12,000 acres of forest and about 5 million trees. One acre is equivalent to 43,560 square feet. How many square feet of forest were destroyed?

522,720,000 square feet of forest were destroyed.
